Frequently asked questions
Why does the set include both the IPC and the UPC?
They are competing model plumbing codes. The IPC is an ICC code adopted in many eastern and southern states; the UPC is an IAPMO code adopted widely in the West. Multi-state firms need both.
Are these the softcover or loose-leaf editions?
All twenty books are the softcover (perfect-bound) editions, not loose-leaf binder versions.
Is the 2024 IBC adopted in my state?
Adoption varies by state and city, and some jurisdictions amend the model code. Check with your local building department for the edition currently enforced.
