How is this different from the 2023 NEC spiral pack with Ugly’s but no tabs?
This pack adds a pre-printed EZ Tabs set for each of the five codebooks. Everything else, the spiral NEC 2023 and Ugly’s 2023, is the same.
Are spiral-bound codebooks allowed in the journeyman exam?
Most state exams allow either binding of the NEC. A few testing providers have rules about loose pages or added material, so check the candidate bulletin before test day.
Is the 2023 NEC the edition my state uses?
Many states adopted the 2023 NEC, while others remain on 2020 or have begun adopting 2026. Confirm with your state electrical board or local AHJ.
